Buck & Megan Sprague {Say I Do @ Boise State University} By Footsteps Photography Boise, Idaho Photographers

Where do I begin with these two?!? We have been blessed to have been a part of Megan’s life for a couple of years now, photographing her and her sweet baby girl. When she called us about a wedding, we were a little bit surprised and a lot a bit excited. We had a blast during their engagement session and got to know her guy, Buck, a little bit. He is so stinking funny and when you put the two of them together, the laughs literally never stop.

We started the wedding day out in Marsing shooting the bride and groom with Buck the horse, then the bridal party at Megan’s grandparent’s old feedlot. Talk about a gorgeous place for pictures! We heard so many funny stories about the bride and groom, from Megan announcing to her friends she was going to marry “that guy” at the Eagle rodeo, to Megan getting bucked off her horse when she decided to ride him after a night out and Buck (the groom) just stood there laughing.

Then we all headed to BSU for the ceremony. What a ceremony! The room was full of laughter, tears, and so much love. After they sealed their marriage with a kiss, we headed down to the blue turf to play. The guys raced, the girls cheered, and Marka posed in her princess dress.

The fun never stopped, continuing into the reception. Friends danced, sang, and toasted the happy couple with heartfelt speeches. It was impossible to see a non smiling face in the crowd. Seriously, we had so much fun! Thanks Megan and Buck for putting on such a celebration. We wish you guys all the love and luck in the world. Here are some of our favorites from the event:

Jen & Chris: Dancers, Lovers, and Most Perfect Couple Ever! {Engagement Session by Footsteps Photography}

Jen & Chris… What do I say about these two. Jen and I go way back. We have taken long van rides to softball tournaments, we sat next to each other in trigonometry, and both have a love for food 🙂 (although my love is about eating it, and her love is about preparing it). Then there is Chris, who I met for the first time at the shoot, but feel like I have known him for years too. He is genuine guy, full of great ideas and so willing to help, and boy does he love Jen. From the first photo snapped to the last, these two just photographed amazingly. There is something about true love that really shows through in pictures. They are really great people, and also quite the dancers too! We are beyond excited that they picked us to shoot their super fabulous corn field wedding next August… Like I mean super duper excited! Check out our favorites from their shoot!

Golden Winter Styled Wedding Shoot {Featuring Footsteps Photography, Miss BYOB apparel, Vintiques Rentals and Styling, and Blooms Florals}

We have been dying to share these with you! We had so much fun putting together this styled shoot! Soft golden hues are so perfect for a winter wedding, with touches of sparkle, nature, marsala, and lace. The styling for this shoot couldn’t have been better executed! Skee of Vintiques brought out her truck and vintage rentals for us to use. Vintiques in Nampa, Idaho is really the best wedding decor rental spot around! Stacey of Miss B.Y.O.B provided the precious flower girl dresses, hair pieces, and her styling touches. The flowers were done by one of the most talented ladies we know, Adele, of Blooms in Kuna, Idaho. And of course the photography was done by us :). Opportunities for a gorgeous winter wedding are endless and these vendors are so incredible to work with. Check out their websites and check out the beautiful photos below!
