Liam, a day in the life {5 year old birthday session}

It is funny how things work out.  This past week has been insanely stressful with my husband having open heart surgery.  No… I did not think I was ready for a session today…just feeling exhausted and overwhelmed. But I made the trek to Kuna to a gorgeous dairy (yes I said gorgeous) to photograph a young man who just turned 5 years old. Liam is the 3rd generation that I have had the pleasure of knowing on this dairy. 3rd generation…so of course we needed a 3 generation photo but how do you catch a great photo when all generations are working non-stop to keep everything running smoothly. Well, you stop them next to a tractor and yell smile! Liam, Dad (John), and Grandpa Mike were great sports and you can definitely see the love of the dairy in each of them.  Grandpa Mike, I hope you know how much this little man looks up to you and thinks that the sun rises and sets on you.  The stories that were told (mainly about the gunfights…Matt Dillon and his crew), the laughs that we had and the perfect overcast skies made for a memorable session.  I am so blessed to have been able to share in this mornings adventure.  I so needed the calming of the cows mooing and the tractors humming and the laughter.  Thank you so much to the Thiels for hosting the perfect summer morning on the dairy.IMG_3240r crop webIMG_3252r crop webIMG_3256 sepia webIMG_3299r cropwebIMG_3303 r crop webIMG_3319r crop webIMG_3327r crop webIMG_3345 crop webIMG_3348r cropwebIMG_3421r crop tight webIMG_3394r 10x20 web
